AAMA

...is a voluntary professional membership organization of mediators and those who support the use of alternative dispute resolution in Bexar County.  Mediation has a cross-section of practitioners that reach into many different fields of expertise. Our members have backgrounds as diverse as the field of conflict resolution – legal, mental health, social sciences, business, human resources, public policy, government and more.

As a professional organization, we provide education and networking opportunities to our members. We also seek to promote community knowledge of mediation and other alternative dispute resolution techniques throughout Bexar County. 

   To promote mediation as a means of resolving disputes

   To work toward the establishment and maintenance of    standards of competence for mediators

   To provide opportunities for mediators to meet    professionally and socially to exchange ideas and to work to further common interests

   To cooperate with the Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center and others in the furtherance of these purposes
